Dear Fm’s

I am totally in love with my oled tv. Picture quality is so good but one bad thing I would like to report is the screen is highly reflective. My room is dark as I have installed dark curtains in the windows so no issues while watching movies or tv shows. Please refer the images below. All these images where taken with one tube light on which is installed in the middle left corner of the room. All images were taken when tv was on. Two in complete dark scenes and two with movie content.Zoom and see you can see everything from the Ac, curtain my svs elevations installed in the ceiling even in a bright scene. In one image you can even see me lol

I think this is more off a glossy display problem than a oled problem. But there are no Matt oled. So in one way can be told as an oled problem too ;)

Case of expecting too much? Apart from the top models of Samsung, OLEDs have the best reflection handling in Rtings' tests.

I saw the same contents in my Sony tv in similar lighting and even it was highly reflective. May be it didn’t bother much cause it was 43 inch and costed 75k.

The bigger scren is reflecting a bigger portion of the back wall, including the brighter areas close to the light source. As far as testing goes, OLED panels handle reflections quite well.

Yeah and with micro scanning for perfection.

I completely agree, and I have an Alienware 13 OLED - man! Deep black and red are worth the price, but they are highly reflective. There are no matt possibilities when it comes to OLED.
