Onida DVD player USB problem

Hii i have a dvd player with usb and memory card support.
I played an english movie in my 4gb kingston pendrive.
After a certain point (1:10:00) the playback stops and file list display screen flashes.
But when i fast forward it,it is able go upto the end (even the credits).
I tried 3 or 4 times to fast forward beyond that point and resume playback but its just able to play it. What could be the problem?? The movie is in .avi format (Xvid DVD rip).
I tried playing it on my pc and it could watch the complete movie perfectly.

Does the problem lie with the DVD player or my pendrive???

is it4 gb or lil above that ??

as few of the dvd player do not play files above 4 gb ( fat 32 limit) also pc can play corrupted files as well sometimes or even there are frames missing.. however player gets stuck..

use vlc and try rebuild the file.. there is an option..

not sure what it can be.. might be video codec or audio corruption..
