Hi Team,
Please suggest if Onkyo Integra A817XD is a good stereo amp to buy. I have a pair of 200 watts floor standing speakers.
Please suggest if i can go with this amp. Early suggestion would be appreciable.

Welcome to the forum! Thank you for joining.

The Integra series from Onkyo was their top of the line.
But that was many years ago. Of recent Onkyo has shut down.

I would not recommend buying as parts are difficult to get.
Service is also not easily available these days with the closing of Onkyo worldwide.
You have many quality options available locally nowadays.

Its a decent vintage amplifier. You definitely want to check if it works okay. The circuitry is rather complicated and you'll need a good hand to fix it, if something were to go wrong. If it all checks out and you get one cheap, pick it up.
What do you mean 200 watt floor stand speakers? Is that the minimum or maximum current? Likely the latter.

I had one. Very nice amplifier. Nice tonality. Warm yet detailed.

If you get one in a good working condition (no hiss/hum etc) you can go for it.

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
