Today, I have called one of the Onkyo Dealer in Ahmedabad for pricing of 808 and he surprised me telling that the prices has gone up for 808 and it is now 99K... Off course he also concluded by saying that some discounts can be offered ....but did not disclosed how much..... (Have no clue what is the reason behind this price hike)
The reason for calling him to check the availability & pricing of 708 and 808 since i want to bring home the system tomorrow (On the occasion of my kid's 1st birthday)......now it seems that i have to wait more.....
Initially i had planned to buy EMO UMC-1+UPA-5/7 but than after lot of research and feedbacks i thought of buying the gear from India (So that there is no issues in after sales service)....Moreover, i beleive that UMC-1 is a gr8 product but still not very stable .....also UMC-1 landing cost in India is around 55K....
Spending 10-12K more here can get me 808....
Guys please help me to decide which way to go......Since last 3 months I am searching for my dream set up but not able to finalize :sad:......seek all your helps My budget is around 70K at present.
