Onkyo TX-SR608

Hi,

I want to purchase an Onkyo TX-SR608 in Bangalore. I read in the forums that the best price for this receiver would be around 30K:clapping:. Saw a couple of members getting it from overseas (shipped).
Here are a couple of questions that are in my mind:
Where can I get the same in Bangalore?
What is a good price in Bangalore?
Which international sellers are of good repute?
How would the duty and documents be handled?
What warranty is provided in case of overseas purchase?

Hi

I am not expert, but I also wanted to buy TX-608. Last week I visited ONKYO official show room on Barton Centre (1st Floor) MG Road., This show room is just being relocated from cunningham Road to MG Road. He offered me at 45k. I called up Modern World MG Road, they offered me at 40K. This is before bargain. These 2 guys are authorized resellers, as I know. Probably 35-40K seem to be good prize.
I am newbie too, so wait for experts to reply, But FYI.

If you want to buy locally try griha vibhav ... You can get the lowest price possible.

Buying from abroad is a totally diff ball game . There are tons of threads available on how to buy stuff from abroad . Please do some search.

Well,I tried it & I found one has to pay extra at the time of check out as Customs & price come close to 28k.So why not get it for 30k locally with warrenty & no need to get a converter extra.

Sorry kittu,I rechecked ebay.in listing & found its US model.One seller had written location as Mumbai & when I asked details ,I see he is from US(he changed).Price around 32k with warrenty & seller says he can provide converter free-
