Optoma HD141x HD / Full 3D

I had purchased Optoma 141x projector from Amazon.Com with their Global Delivery Option. Heart was in mouth for two weeks Just received. Wow, it really looks great (projected on a wall to test it), now , I am relieved!!

I do not have a screen at the moment.

When I purchased item, the price was $599 + shipping + Custom. (guess, price has been moving north with more and more positive reviews)

Guess, price would end up much cheaper than local prices; however, risk of damage during the shipping would always be there (in such cases). I took a risk ...

BTW, on packaging part, the original Optoma package is robust (with solid bubble wrap). Amazon adds additional box on top of it. Wish this box too had bubble wrap support, just to secure more tightly.

52K (with Custom Duty and Delivery). BTW, so far this has been delivering with great picture quality, matching my expectations.

Tested with three input sources:
1) TataSky HD 2) Bluray (Panasonic) 3) AppleTV

It could read all these sources without any hassle.

Have not yet bought the screen though. Projecting on a wall (that is coloured with light yellowish).

im totally n00b in this section, want to know how i figure out about the size of projection if i place projector on x distance?

also, what is better to place projector on table or mounted on roof?

Well.. i think they are trying to fool you.. It will work in our 220V.

Ordered it at NewEgg only mate. 48.6K all inclusive. Heart in the mouth upto that extent that I track my shipping every 2-3 hours. Item has left Baldwin Park, CA and has departed from Export Loiusville, KY. Estimated delivery on 28th. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Boss Newegg had sent me a coupon in my email (I had subscribed to their mail blaster or something a week back). I applied that and got further discount of around 2500/-.

That wont work as it is written the code is newegg ID specific and can be used only with this product only once. Why dont u too subscribe and get a code in your mail buddy?
