package stuck at mumbai customs :(

Guys,

My package (caiman) is stuck with Mumbai customs for the past 3 days, atleast thats what the speed post tracking says.

Should i be worried ? Or it a normal wait time ?
Apart from calling the speed post customer care numbers is there anything else i can do at this stage.

Any inputs much appreciated.

Keep the supplier's invoice handy with you, alongwith the product brochure.

In case it is indeed stuck with the customs, then the courier guys would intimate you to meet Customs directly. However, being the year end, the customs dept. is on overload .... the delay could be only due to this.

No harm in calling up the CR of the courier company.

Customs may take a few weeks, it is normal.

i hope so gobble. Its been a week now . The post office is saying the same thing .. have pateince as its holiday week and there is lot of load at customs.
