Panasonic LED v/s Epson TW 8100

Srry for my late reply. Just wanted to make a small correction in ur statement. Those pics are of the a Epson 8500UB(US model number). Its india model number was TW4400 or TW4500. Something is wrong with ur projector coz my projector(8500UB) is a 1600 Lumens projector while urs is a 2400 lumens one... Mine even after 1000 hours+ of usage burns my eyes if I watch in dynamic mode in darkness. I project a 180inch image so in a 120inch image like urs plus with a 2400 lumens projector ur image should be much much much brighter. You have to file a complaint with epson regarding this issue.

Thanks

I am going to check another TW 8100 which is setup at my friend's place for comparison since I have no idea what to expect out of it :)

Yes I am thinking of atleast raising a concern ones again with Epson.

Just an update here

After almost 200+ hours of usage now I can proudly say, TW 8100 was a worth buying!

Recently have been to PVR and Inox in my town Udaipur, none can beat the PQ & SQ (my wife agreed to this) of my Home Theatre.

great.congratulations..

Yes compared with friend's place and the result was same :)

Probably my eyes took some time to adapt to PJ, now when I look at my LED I can make out why few members on board called it poor.

What I see these days on my PJ is very good PQ (depending upon content ofcourse), bright colors and a life size overall experience. Infact watched whole Match today on PJ and it was fun!

Haven't calibrated it yet
