Hi,

Guys this is a big news that many may love to hear !! also some of them may even get restless untill they lay their hands on this one !!

Yes this the second generation speakers from the world Famous Guy Nelson Pass from his Pass Labs !!

This will replace the current Rushmore series,Dubbed SR1 this all new series is designed to give the last bit of detail that any Pass Lab amps throws at it !!

Here's more details of the same (taken from Electronic House Site and the writeup is by Arlen Schweiger )

Pass Labs is known for some pretty hefty and high-performance amps and preamps, but the name Rushmore says plenty about the companys lone foray into loudspeakers. Thats until nowPass Labs has introduced its second loudspeaker, the SR1, and its mountain-like in its own right.

The SR1 will be replacing the Rushmore, and itll be doing so in style as a four-way floorstanding model made up of four independently adjustable amplification packages and four-way active crossover.

The behemoth but beautiful speaker is actually two enclosures combineda big bass enclosure that contains 10-inch and 8-inch drivers for the bottom four octaves, and an adjustable smaller cabinet with the midrange and tweeter.

For total accuracy, detail and dynamics that are sure to produce a mind-blowing audio experience, the system can be bi-amplified or even quad-amped.

Drivers feature Nextel-coated cones and a Crescendo tweeter from Seas of Norway, and altogether sensitivity is about 90 dB for a 2.8V input, the company says.

On top of its musical reproduction, theres aesthetic splendor as well so you dont have to be worried about the clash of audiophile and interior designthe SR1 will enhance your decor, and certainly be a good conversation piece.

Look for the SR1 at $25,000 per pairitll be shown off at next months CES show.

Well the price tag of this heavy proportion only makes it a dream of the millionaire,So normal folks like me can only see the pic and enjoy !

So guys there goes the biggest scoop of the year (perhaps one of the ) !

Regards.

Strictly speaking, its not that bad a deal. 25000$ for a statement loudspeaker from someone as accomplished as Nelson Pass is good value for money.

Yeah! Looking & hearing about all the mad prices. 12-13L has started to seem acceptable at times. I hope my fam is not reading.:D
Cheers
