Hi,
Does anyone know of any good PCMCIA soundcard which does a digital out ? all i could find was the indigo Echo but that only has an Analogue out.

Any info would be much appreciated !

Hi,
PCMCIA soundcard

Hi...

Any particular reason why you are looking for PCMCIA based digital output ? If this is for your laptop, then you have USB/firewire based Audio devices which can give you what you are looking for.

One such product is M-AUDIO - Transit - Hi-Resolution Mobile Audio Interface which is the base product in USB connectivity mode. The firewire products from them are really more professional based and might be an over-kill for home use :)

Hope this helps..!!

i do have a trends UD10 with external battery pack..and it is not really good enough.

Also USB has some intrinsic problems for Hi fi

specifically looking for PCMCIA..unless you know of any ethernet to SPDIF :D

Okie Dokie..

I am not aware of any PCMCIA cards which provide COAX/DIGITAL outs.. if i come across one, i will let you know.

in case you find out before i do, then please let me know. I would like to know the product as well :D
