Hi,
As the title suggests, I got my hands on an old Philips FWD-17 Speaker system for free from a friend who has realised that she had it sitting in a box somewhere ever since she upgraded to newer systems. She is giving them off to me, but also suggested that I look into buying a better pre-amp for the speakers than using the pre-amp that has been provided to us by philips because she believes we can get more fidelity from the speakers. I'm new to the whole thing, this is going to be my first speaker system with a pre-amp even, so for me it is like a big upgrade from my rusting, and almost battery dead JBL Go 2 that I've been somehow using every day. Please let me know if anyone has any insights on this system, and what would be the best use case scenario for the same. I'm attaching a few photographs to just add that to the documentation here

Try to get a bluetooth player with terminals to attach these speakers. I guess the speakers are 4ohm. 30W each
It does say 6ohm each, would you be able to suggest any bluetooth players with the terminals to attach these speakers being sold on the market, I live in a remote area where not much electronic stuff is available to test, or speak to someone who would have the know how around these things like in metropolitan areas. Would have to pretty much order everything online, hence seeking recommendations from folx who would know a thing or two. Thanks for the reply

Can you post the rear side of the player to see if there are aux input pins available ? If yes, you can order a bluetooth audio receiver cum transmitter from Amazon or Flipkart and connect your phone to it.

For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
