I have been planning to upgrade my current craftel 12" subwoofer. My room size is 15 x 10. The current one is lacking the punch.

My doubts:
does the current sub woofer is not capable to produce the punch and shake we get in the theater or there is a problem with the room acoustic.

If I dont get that quality even after I upgrade a new sub, then it would be a waste of money.

So I would request the forum members to help in this regard.

New Sub:
Budget would be 30 - 35k
Sub in mind, SVS

My current AVR is Pioneer 920K receiver.

Cannot comment on your current setup but the svs would start from about 54k for the ported models. This pricing was when US Dollar was 55. Current pricing you need to check with audire. For the size of your room a 10" sub would do.

The prices for SVS is too high, I was quoted 71k ended prices with shipping and tax for svs pc 12. So I need to remove svs from list. Is there any other suggestions. I want to have a sub that need to be felt and to be accurate bass.

Kaptan... i got a similar room size (i am assuming measurement in feet)... Even my Astonia sub packs a good punch. I think there has to be something else that can be wrong like cable, sub woofer placement, source etc. My 2 cents...

Have you bought a Sub finally then?

Not Yet ankitbhargava. I have spent the budget to the projector. Will be opting for sub later when my budget permits. As of now I have paused the idea of changing the sub. I also have a doubt of rooms treatments, which might help in future.

SVS is available in India through Audire.in. Recently go the SVS PB1000 but have not done much testing sinc my speakers are yet to come!!

Congrats !!! I guess it should be around 55k including shipping.

PB12-NSD got very good reviews and prosenjit found PB12-NSD to be an excellent one when he did an audition. How does SB12-NSD perform ? Any owners for that ?

Polk audio DSW PRO 550/660 very good for home theatre purpose. Or you can use this models along with book shelf speakers for stereo purpose. Only thing to remember is that you should adjust crossover settings below 80Hz

Purchase the Audiolab 6000A Integrated Amplifier at a special offer price.
