plasma 50 inch,panasonic,hitachi,or pioneer

hi know alls,please advice..i need a 50 inch plasma,which one should i go for,is hd ready okay,is full hd of any use...price vs what u get.....pl advice.i ve seen panasonic new range,they get better as u go on seeing the moreexpensive ones...but of course just relatively.in the gallery the diff is gonnud bea be there,but will it matter when u take it home.hitachi seems not all that sharp, but cud be bad settings in demopioneer is really smart and good but service back up cud be an issue.so pl advicehd or hd ready...these* and do u think if i need another 42 inch whats better lcd or plasma..watching is same old cable.and dvds,maybe some ps3 games..
