Plasma or LCD

I am planning to buy a TV. Not sure to go to Plasma or LCD. LG 50PJ650 lookgs good

80% TV (10 hrs of average daily usage)
20% movies

Buy both of them!!! That way you can objectively tell the fanboys on either side which technology is better.
On a more serious note, why don't you go through previous threads before posting..... all questions regarding advantages and disadvantages of both have been done to death. Or maybe you are trying to start a firefight?? Because adherents of either technology will swear by their choice.

Just buy a good LCD TV as big and fits in to your budget. Plasma is like laptop you are always on it doing something .
