please suggest additional speakers for Onkyo HT-S3300

Hi,

I have onkyo ht-s3300 and using this with my settop box and TV. It is good for watching movies and TV.

However, i am not satisfied with those 5 small speakers come with the receiver for listning to music. I need suggestion on adding two stereo speakers which can be used along with the "Speaker B" option.

I have collection of 1990 tamil cinema songs, espcially from Illayaraja. One think i noticed is that, the current 5 speakers and the sub-woofer is very poor in getting the "Tabla", which is my favorite. I hope adding two medium streo speakers in the "Speaker B" option will help in solving this also.

I don't understand you point. If you do not like the sound you should look at replacing the main speakers. If you add a set of speakers to 'B', that is usually meant for a Zone 2 that will be in another room. Zone 2 is usually powered by the rear channel amplifiers reducing the main HT system to 5.1

The best thing for you to do will be to replace the front L&R with some speakers that gives you better sound.
