Frnds :),
I am planning to set up my first HT with ur expert advice. Usage would be for mostly watching TATA sky HD, Apple TV, Watching HD movies, Lots Music Videos and listening to Music. My budget for 5.1 AVR is Rs.35000 to Rs.45000 and DLNA, wifi (will do even if wifi is nt der) Features are main as i will stream the HD contents from my synology NAS coz my TV doesnt have DLNA. Initially i will put 3.1 speakers as der is no provision for rear speakers and will upgrade later. My budget for speakers is Rs.40000 (for 3.1). Two floorstanding or bookshelf?, one center and one woofer.
Room size is 11*22, distance from the TV to sofa is 8-9 feet.
Want aswome sound especially for music videos. Kindly suggest me the bestest possible combo (AVR + Speakers) within my budget.

Thanking you allll :)

Am not much aware abt the networking capability of the AVR's nor have used them to give you feedback....

For speakers, you can look @ Sonodyne Sonus range, PSB Alpha series, Polk Tsi/Tsx series, Wharfedale diamond series...

Thx a lot for your suggestions, I have purchased DENON x1000 AVR.
Now still need to finalize speakers. please suggest me good (floorstaning or bookshelf) set of speakers (with model no.) that will go well along with denon x1000. Now budget for speakers Rs.50,000 for 3.1 n later will upgrade to 5.1.
1) Front speakers =
2) Center speakres =
3) Sub =
4) Rear speakers =

kindly suggest me, so that i can audition thm and finalize my purchase.

hi heart Hacker,

My suggestions for floor standers will be Polk TSX 330t @ 27k(but needs sub), Polk TSX 440t @ 37-39K, Sonodyne sonus 2605 @ 32k, and Tannoy mercury V4i @ 36k..I audtioned these speakers recently. If u ask me I will suggest Tannoy or 440. I heard Polk with denon and it sounded good. Tannoy stands out from the rest in terms of tonal quality.

Hi,

Do you know what could be the price of Boston acoustics 225C center speaker, in Bangalore or any where in India.? Is this a good choice for center speaker as I saw very few reviews only..

I see the online US deal price is only 80 US dollars for the series II of the speaker (new model).
