I am planning to buy Polk speakers for my Denon X1200 AVR. Recently read about Polk T Series speakers like T50/T30/T15. Suggestions please....

If the purpose is movies, then you can go for Polk Audio for sure. Musically they are not great.

Also check out the RTi series, audition and decide for yourself based on the budget you got.

Hi, my main purpose is for movies. Is this speakers sufficient or Polk TSX 330/440 ? Totally confused..[emoji19]

What did you buy finally? I am using Polk Tsi 200 as front and Polk Monitor 30 as rear. Though the models are now quite old, the speakers are awesome and with my Marantz they are amazing for movies as well for music to my family's and my ears.

Go for Polk. I am one happy Polk user. General belief is that Polk is suitable only for Movies, not good for Music. IMO, it's wrong. Every speaker brand/model has its own sound signature and dynamics. What I noticed that you need powerful amp to drive Polk. But end of the day, it's your music, your ears, your money; when you are happy with Polk, go for it.

Totally agree. Love my polks for both music and movies. They are driven by a Marantz rated at 50wpc and they truly sing. Was using them with a Denon 1908 earlier, rated at 85/90wpc, which was good but no where as detailed as the Marantz is.

I have Polk TSx330T front towers connected to Denon AVR-X510BT. So far my experience with these is, movies sound excellent to my ears but music not that great.
