Hi guys,
A few months ago I bought a Sony EX300 32" LCD. Since I am used to watching movies using the headphone output of my old TV (Sony Wega) I tried this also with the new LDC. Guess what - its just terrible - quite "Tinny".
I guess the LCD guys reduce the frequency range of the output to accommodate the LCD's tiny speakers. I guess the amp's output is routed through the headphone circuitry leading to the reduced frequency range. Its sad that they do not feed the raw signal to a separate headphone amp.
I have tried out the menu options but to no avail.
I do not connect to the headphone outputs any longer. Does anybody else have the same problem? And naturally any solutions other than going in for an external headphone amp/headphone output of external surround amp.
