The new PM 6006 Marantz amp ( 45 W / 8 Ohm ) has a power consumption of 395 W vs the 155 W of 6004/5 predecessor - Class AB;

The new Nad amps : from 290 W of C326 ( 50 W / 8 Ohm, Class AB ) to 100 W of C368 ( 80 W / 8 Ohm , Class D) .

There is no major difference b/w pm6005 and 6006 except with two optical inputs

US site says 395 watts. UK site says 155 watts.

You are right. PM 6004 consumes 150watts. With digital input PM 6005 consumes 155 watts. With additional input, with same output PM 6006 can't/shouldn

't consume 395 watts unless, Marantz decides to make highly inefficient amp. IMO, it's a typo on Marantz US website that creates confusion.

395 watts only at its peak power output , a point you will never really go unless you are connecting it to a say Marten Coltrane Supreme!!!!!
