Hi, Pls excuse me for posting this in a wrong forum. But I could not find any other active forums like this in the Music Instruments category. Being AV enthusiast/experts if anyone has any opinion/ know the answer pls reply. Here is the details of my problem:::::
I bought a Casio Keyboard CTK 240 from Croma. (AC adapter was given free by Croma). I brought it home and switched on,played till next 1 hour and then switched off the keyboard (but the adapter plug was on) and took a break. Until then no issues!!! (I was happy about my purchase). After 30 minutes, I tried to switch ON again. It didnt respond. Whatever I do, it never turned on. I tried also with a new set of batteries. It didn't even turned on!. Next day, I returned it to Croma and exchanged with a fresh piece. Again that day, the exactly same problem with that. I went again to Croma next day. Croma refused to replace initially, & after some argument, they agreed but said they will be receiving new stock next monday. then they will call me.
Now, please tell me ---
(1) Is it a manufacturing defect, OR
(2)Is it power problem at my home?
(3)Adapter problem?
(4)I didn't switch off the adapter plug when keeping keyboard switched off. Is that a problem?
(5)IMPORTANT: How can i make sure if the same doesnt repeat yet another time... if keyboard replaced by croma or serviced by Casio? I am sick of running behind them...
PLS HELP. Thanks!
