Problem with my amp

Hey gang,

I have a problem with my amp ONKYO INTEGRA 917,while playing cd`s the selector switch (rotary) keeps changing between the cd and tape intermitently ,(it is a relay switching sort of sound)since the same was serviced by TORVIN i spoke to them over phone and was advised to use a stabilizer which i did,but the problem continues,were can i get it done here in bangalore,pls advice.

Cleaned the switch yeterday and the problem has ceased to continue.

I just removed the front facia,side brackets,all the knobs and the plate holding the controls,used a imported contact cleaner to clean all the controls left it just like that for a while to dry,and then assembled it.That waz it.....

hi,what type of contact cleaner u used?actually i want to know, and from where you purchased in india?

A lot of this stuff is found on sp road in Bangalore so it's sure to be available in your city.
