I was promised for the installation on Saturday, but when I called them on Saturday morning around 11 am the items were yet to arrive from their Bangalore warehouse.
But once again I was informed that the installation person would come by 3pm. I was not very hopeful as the items were yet to reach Chennai, and Profx have a Sunday weekly holiday and thought the installation would happen only on Monday.
Got a call from their installation fellow at 2.30pm stating that he had started from their office and will reach in 45 mins, This fellow James came around 3.30 and the installation was completed by 5.30 pm. He did not go for the Audyssey setting stating that it needs complete sound insulation else will result in error and went for manual settings.
After the installation played few discs which I had like Shivaji, Fast and Furious etc and was happy with the sound effects. The Dolby test Bluray disc which he bought did not play in my Panasonic player.
Though had some initial Hiccups with this Profx people, the overall purchase and installation experience have been smooth so far. I got a feedback call from Profx last week and I informed the same thing that their Pre-sales attitude needs a bigger improvement while their post sales seems to be good.
