Projector / TV connected to AV receiver

Guys ,
My AV reciever has only one HDMI out slot so everytime I switch from tv to projector or vice-versa I manually need to plug in/plug out
TV or projector hdmi cable from AV receiver.
Is there any other option available to automate it or I have to manually do it always ??

get an HDMI switch which works with remote and it should solve your problem.
Kinivo is well known in US. not sure of local ones here.

Get a HDMI splitter- 1 input, 2 outputs-
Connect the input splitter to the Output of the receiver,
Connect the first output of the Splitter to the TV
Connect the second output of the Splitter to the Projector
Video will be going to both the Projector and TV- You turn on either the TV or Projector, depending upon which one you would like to watch

harshi is looking for the capability of taking 1 input and sending it to either the projector or TV-

The device describe is 3 inputs and 1 output

Thanks a lot for your feedback.I hope the video quality won't suffer with the splitter with 2 signals going on in parallel but offcourse I would end up watching one at a time.

I never used such a setup but I am using IOGear IOGW3DHDKIT (which does wireless HDMI transmission) for similar functionality.

The transmitter is always connected to my d2h settop box and it has a direct HDMI out which goes to TV. If i wish to see TV/video on projector I switch on the wireless receiver at projector side which enables seemless wireless HDMI transmission across rooms in my house otherwise all video content available on TV...

Of course its a bit expensive solution (costs about $200) but I am having 3-4 hdmi sources which are pooled through a 5 port HDMI splitter (5 in and 1 out with remote), so gone for it and no more hassles with cables, fixed on one end and wireless receiver on projector side serves for dynamic locations .
