Hi Guys,

Could you please let me know if wall mount is good for Projector?

I am looking for 3 Feet arm, so that distance from Projector to Screen is 8ft for 80" screen. Projector is Optoma HD141x.

What brand should i buy, how much would it cost?

Will it hold the projector at its maximum stretch (at 3ft), without any issues?

IF any one is from Hyderabad, please suggest where i can look for it.

Thanks,
CMarella.

Thanks NatureLover.

I checked it before. I need my projector to be placed at 9ft from screen. Room is 12 * 10 ft.
So to cover some distance, i am looking for 3ft arm wall mount, so that projector and screen are at 9 ft.

I am looking for Wall mount details.

Thanks ,
Cmarella

I am happily using this for Optoma:

Inlight Brand Universal Projector CEILING & WALL(BOTH OPTION AVAILABLE) Mount 2 Feet(1 Ft. + 1 Ft.)
https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B00JTRL04A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think there are wall mounts upto 4 ft in Amazon.in. Do take precaution to provide for 14" below the PJ when you calculate vertical throw - i.e. the top of the image will be down 14" from the bottom of the lens. I ran into this problem AFTER fixing the wall plate and I hate myself for this!

Guys, one general question.

Can we use the ceiling mount projector for wall mount?

I have couple of options below. Please let me know if these are good to use at max stretch.
My optoma HD141x (2kg) should be safe :)

Zipp 2 W 3 Feet Tilt Projector Ceiling Wall Mount Stand Bracket | eBay

Universal LCD/DLP PROJECTOR Ceiling Mount Set including: Amazon.in: Electronics

The first one is a wall mount and will suit your need but the second one is a ceiling mount and cannot be used as a wall mount.

First one looks good ( from reputed maxine )
second one can be converted to wall mount. I bought similar to second (less than 1000 bucks) and converted to wall mount, but i'm using it as 1.2 feet only.

Second one says 3 ft + 3 ft. Can i use this safely at 3ft ( which will suit my 80" screen size at 9ft distance).

When you said converting, how much length is gone in conversion? is it 3ft horizontal, 3 ft vertical?
I am getting this from one of our FMs :)

why you need 3+3 feet ? Did you checked the zoom on PJ ?
I have 1+1 feet.But i'm using only 15inch.
i used like this.

As i earlier mentioned, distance b/w projector and screen has to be <=9ft for my 80" screen. Projector is Optoma HD141x.

My wall is at 11.5ft from attick where i will be hanging the wooden screen.
So trying to adjust the distance using mount.

Your mount looks good. But i doubt using the same at 3ft. Arms may not have strength enough to hold 2kg at that distance.

Not yet.
I am thinking to get the screen first, and then probably go with ceiling mount.
I have question regarding projector distance to ceiling fan.
With my setup it will be few inches away from fan. But i checked that it does not get much air directly to the projector bulb.

will it be a problem in general, placing the projector closer to ceiling fan?

Thanks
