Jico declare only the actual invoice value in the shipping documents, they won't show the reduced value for shipping. Is there available any other shipping choice other than Fedex? shipping cost includes in the total value so that the dutiable amount will be high.

There doesn't appear to be any way out of high customs duties. I remember reading somewhere (maybe its on this forum) that effective Feb 2020 customs duties for all personal shipments are 70 or 75%. The only option is to ask someone who is travelling to bring it in their luggage.

This is not true. Custom duty on electronics is 30%+GST 18% and DHL clearing charges rs 500 plus GST.

better buy from them and ask them to ship via ems thats the cheapest and safest method to avoid high custom duties
