For the benefit of a parent with some hearing difficulty, I am required to run speaker wire a total length of 60 feet between TV at one end of a large room and (planned) sound-bar at the other end.
Am I likely to encounter audio latency with such a long cable? If yes, is there a way to overcome the problem?
Existing equipment is 40" flatscreen TV, basic cable, and a DVD player. A 5.1 receiver/amp will not be part of this setup. Clarity of sound - primarily vocals - is of greater significance than bass/surround. Possible upgrade to Tata Sky HD in the near future.
With a view to the above, sound-bar recommendations <15k INR will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
