check out 'Charsur'. Many of their recordings are of high quality. I have a few and have found the quality better than most others.

Sorry not to be clear. I am not buying anything. The member at diyAudio wants to know very well made/recorded quality carnatic classical music. I will pass on the information to him soon. meanwhile if other than these if anyone has heard/appreciated quality recording of carnatic music, please do post.

Reviving an old thread to share good quality Carnatic recordings. I am fine with 320kbps streams when the mastering is good.

I will start with the following:

1. Maharajpuram V Santhanam Maestros choice on Music Today
2. ML Vasanthakumari From the NCPA archives
3. MS Subbulakshmi from the NCPA archives
4. L Sub - Albums Kalyani and Saraswati on water lily acoustics label

Best way to enjoy is to attend concerts. Also Amrutha Varshini on AIR is almost always good.
