RCOM internet 4Mbps unlimited for 1099, 2Mbps unlimited for 599 without FUP

I read on many forums that they do provide this kind of speeds quite effectively but have not personally tested it. I am thinking of getting it for my home so after getting will post a review.

I recommend to try out BBNL if it is available in your area. I have started using it for couple of months and my plan is 10mbps for 1120/- including tax. I get consistently 8 to 9mbps speed and above all this plan is unlimited without any FUP.

Thanks

Any such service available near Brookfield area? I am fed up with airtel.

Check out the above site if your area is covered and you can get the connection to try out free for couple of days and then you can confirm with them to continue, I did that and there service also is good so far with couple of disconnections in last 2 months for a period of 1 hr with regular updates from the service guys. I was using Airtel since 6 yrs fed up with the service and high cost so moved on.

Thanks

Can you provide a link to the plan you are taking about? I am using BSNL and the all the unlimited plans on the website have a FUP.

I am looking for plans here -> http://www.bsnl.co.in:9080/opencms/bsnl/BSNL/services/broadband/new_BB_postpaid.html

Opps.. Sorry.

Got over excited looking at 10Mbps at Rs.1200 and that too without FUP :D

Ya, BBNL and BSNL are totally different. I am also stuck with BSNL with 512 Kbps unlimited for 750 bucks and am really looking to change to a better internet connection soon. Now ACT has started giving 25 Mbps with 100GB FUP and later 512 Kbps for 1999 which seems enticing but not available in my area.

But you can go for Rcom Internet which is giving 4Mbps unlimited for 1099 rupees

Tried to get a new reliance connection....but I think they are not interested.
Put a request on 8th for a new connection. They said its available in my area and I will get a call within 48 Hrs for further action. No one called till 12th afternoon. I called them on 12th and the issue was escalated and they said I will get a call that day itself. No one called that day. On 13th I called again, I was shocked to hear the CSR say that there was no request made by me ever.. Instead of useless arguing, I told him to take a new request. Again the same story.........will get a call in 48Hrs. Till date no one has called me. It has been escalated (god knows where) thrice since 13th. Luckily after 13th, they never said that I never put a request :D
I wonder if this is the customer service even before I get a connection, what will it be like later.
