Hi All,

I am looking for new 5.1 speakers for my AV RX-V450, currently i have the basic Yamaha NS-P236...but still confused should i change my whole system or just changing speakers will do...had recent demo on BOSE AM15 and i liked them...

1) Hows the compatibility and result of BOSE AM10 or AM15 with Yamaha RX-V450 !! (AM10-AM15 will cost anywhere 50K+)

2) Other suggested speakers with RX-V450, mainly for movies-music

Thanks in advance..

audition other speakers in that price range. bose isnt so bad but theyre expensive. you get better speakers for the same price

There are many 5.1 sub + sat speakers in that budget. Do check Deftech pro cinema , paradigm cinema ct series, psb , mirage nanosat , hsu and energy 5.1 speakers.

Thanks Guys...

Whats your take on

QA 2000 Cinema

OR

QA 2050 as front towers,
2010/2020 as rear,
2000 centre
2070 sub

Thanks for all your help

i would recommend the PSB Alpha B1 + C1 + LR1. I'm currently using the PSB Image setup with the same AVR that you have and they sound superb together.... :)

if you wanna go towers change B1 to T1. The price range for PSB Alpha series should be comparable to qacoustics 2000 series, wharfadele 10 series etc.

Hello every1,

Was on bed for sometime so was not able to visit stores but now time has finally come, my final hall size is 11 x 20
1. Yamaha RX-V450 will do the job rite..
2. Will be looking for audition of qa, psb, warfdale

I am looking for front 2 towers, rear to be mounted

Ratio of movies music as 60:40

Kindly advice/suggest your best, can spend upto 50k

Cheers....

Hello all....

Wishing u all a very happy Holi..

Finally had some time yesterday and had some hearing.....

1)QA 2010 were good, had good bass when tried on fusion music of Taal, AKon's..wanna f...u and ofcourse all time test song Hotel California...crisp vocal too....but YES this series without woofer for any reason is just like no speakers...

2) Jamo - S606, these were good too as getting more bass from towers, but unlike punch effect from QA woofer, this was lacking in jamo as per my feeling.

3) Klipsch - RF62-II, this were the monsters, heard only 2 towers without woofer and sound was gr8, but price too was gr8 some 56k for pair towers..and this was like need to built up 5.1 in intervals....

So finally i need advice on below from all xperienced users and gurus..
a) take on jamo 606-608 vs qa 2050 (need some address to audition qa 2050 towers)
b) if jamo then 606 or 608 (again need some address to hear 608)
c) In qa 1010 what i see is woofer has more role to play, so here if i keep front has 2020, rear 2010, then how will be the combination !! there is just 1 inch diff in bass unit, so will this really make a difference in overall movies-music..

I am more keen on front as towers as looking towards nice decor design....

Which ever i go for...i will be carrying my amp Y-v450 to ensure i get desired effect m looking for..

Thanks all....hope to get good response which will help me finalise in next week....

Members seems to be too silent these days, can I have some replies on my post of day before on my audition feedback and help needed for final decision..,

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
