Recliner Comfort

So during august I purchased a manual living room recliner from Damro which was very comfortable but for watching movies it was causing severe neck pain. So within one month I decided to sell it even though I had to bare a huge loss for a new product and go for a proper HT seat cause the reclining angle was the main culprit for causing the neck pain and a HT seat is more suitable. I did so many demos and all recliners had this problem. My height is just 5’10 and see how the foot is coming out. When I sit at my actual viewing position it comes out even more. I am sure many here use recliners in their HT room so wanted to check if they have managed to find any model that gives full support to the leg. As a work around I am using a pillow and it does the job well

Did you try the Lazyboy recliner? I have used many recliners but I don't find them comfortable over long periods of time. In fact, the recline angle causes me some gastric trouble so I need to come back to sitting position regularly.

I did try out a similar-looking zero gravity lounge chair at a local dealer it felt comfortable but the cost was like 2.5 lakhs.

Many recliners as in HT recliners or the living room recliners? They both have a different angle for reclining. The living room recliners are not good for watching movies. I got one motorised HT seat from recliner India and it’s excellent for watching movies. Reclining angle is very comfortable. Only problem is feet hanging out. Lazy boy I didn’t get to demo. I was Keen on getting little nap Millor model which is same as the recliner India model in pic. Due to pandemic little nap Chennai show room shut down and I was able to get demo of recliner India. I was keen on back, neck support and reclining angle that I failed to check the feet comfort. But I have checked so many recliners and all have this issue

Try Karlsson leathers as well, they have custom designer recliners for HT. Not sure whether they have a showroom in Chennai but if possible try to get a demo.

I think they are very expensive.
