Hello,
I was playing the DVD on a blu-ray player which was hooked through the Denon AVR X-2000. The volume being played was on 50% which was not loud at all. All of a sudden the AVR went off, with the red pilot light blinking. I put off the AVR through the remote and again re-started it, and the AVR came up, and functioned as nothing wrong happened.
Was it clipping ? The speaker-wire shreds touching each other terminals theory won't hold good, because I did not try to arrange the speaker-wires or any thing like that. Neither the AVR was hot. I simply started, and the blinking red light went away, and it played like before. Any guesses what might have happened.
