Any one using rega Brio amp or rega io amp.rega dac r .your opinion about them will be highly valuable.
Rega io is 30 wattper channel is it underpowered

Have heard the rega brio, vey under rated in terms of power and very good amp.

Rega Brio is a very good amp, have owned one in the past powering Rega rx3 it was very musical.

Sometimes cabasse mt31 antiqua bookshelf speakers 125w

I upgraded from avr RXA 3050a tp rega brio.
It runs a pair of concept 20. Nevwr heard any other amp am happy with the power. Get to hear close to 30% of the volume after which it goes very loud. Cant listen evwn in independent house without disturbing neighors. Only lookimg to chamge to either spendors or harbets bookshelves. For floorstamders i might look at elicit amp

Under powered or over powered depends on so many factors and most importantly the speaker you are trying to drive
eg a high sensitivity/easy drivable speaker 15W is more than enough and a 15W to 30 W is only a 3dB increase in levels

Also amp published specs can be misleading and a 10W published spec can actually drive a speaker better than a 30W published spec...

So the more relevant question would be -which is the speaker you are trying to match it with ?

Check with him if you can borrow the Rega Brio and try it out with your speakers.

You may have no problem with the Dali lektor. Not sure of the cabasse as many of them used to go down to 4 ohms and while usually not an issue, difficult to say unless you hear it.

Cabasse is 8 ohm speaker.tq for the advice

Hi all.finally got rega io amp.vocal clarity and sound seperation is superb it blends well with my lektor speakers.though it's 30 watt per channel ,it sounds more than that.ultimately I'm happy with its sound performance.
Thanks Roshan as he gave me good demo of his regaamp.
