Firstly my sincere thanks for giving us the opportunity to listen to the CS3 during the Bangalore HFV meet. I had a quick question - is it possible to run this speaker without crossover ( and just room correction) by using something similar to Fostex R100T attenuators (L-pad) to reduce/prevent the lower frequencies going to the tweeter?

With regards to your question - you need this DSP unit to do multiple things to get the end result that the designer has achieved, they are

speaker correction, time, phase
room correction

the end flat result is a combination of both adjusting for speaker as well as room

Great set of speakers..albeit i heard the CS2.3 and one more model that i can't remmeber at 2008 RMAF.

THe best open baffle speakers for me at the show. Bested the Linkwitz Orions.
