Review of Norge Ultimo speakers

From the review - some nuggets:

Also its advisable not to run these speakers too hot, mainly because none of us would like to wear out the external or internal suspensions too early, resulting in a reduced lifespan of the loudspeaker

It rather pays a little more attention to the low end, somewhat like a bass machine

I used to av max seriously earlier,but when I read there last review of norge amp,I left.
Why,just bcos they used Philips DVDp as source for reviewing a stereo amp & rated it as 3star.:mad:

From the review - some nuggets:

The first line of the "Technology" section mentions that the speaker uses a 4.75" mid-bass Wavecor driver. However, the "Specifications" list mentions a 6" mid-bass driver. My bet would be on 6".

I'm also assuming that there is a rear facing port on this "logically heavy" speaker. It does look nice in an all-black design though.

How would this be different from the millenium ? They are using the Wavecor drivers just like the millenium. why pay ~6k extra ?

Because they are "logically heavy" as opposed to the Millenium being maybe just physically heavy? :lol:

Music is a complex electric signal, and as such harmonics occur naturally in music, leading to the fact that interference is bound to happen and as a result one usually doesnt get a linear frequency response from their sound system. With the
technology in place, one can expect an improved response in the audio delivery without any spurious harmonics in the music.
::::Right!::::
