Hi Shaizada
Porcupine Tree are performing at IIT mumbai. There was no advertisement till date, just a small article today in Mumbai Mirror

Is this Roja?

One of the best works of Rahman. For me I rate Roja and Dil se as the best by Rahman

It indeed is.

Someother works I like a lot are Uzhavan, Kizhakku Cheemayile, Thiruda Thiruda, Puthiya Mukham, Duet, Bombay, Alaypayuthe etc.

Even though I'm not a tamilian, I'm fortunate enough to speak and even partially read Tamil; believe me you, I prefer the Tamil version (which is usually the original) is much better than its Hindi rendering especially when it comes to the usage of words or their meaning with respect to the context.

Cheers.

Hai,

What about Jeans, Indian & Iruvar?

N.Murali

Those definitely had good songs, but in its entirety I didn't like it as much as I liked others. Jeans didn't impress me that much, to the extent that I cant remember when I played it the last time! Indian was fun but that's about it, although I particularly like Pachai Kiligal and Kappaleri Poyachu. Similarly with Iruvar, would love to repeat listening to Kannai Katti Kollathe and Narumugayae

Also, Kandukonden Kondukonden was a beautiful album imo.

I'm not sure if I enjoy his songs as much as I did in the past. In recent times, only Jodha Akhbar felt right up there. Slumdog Millionaire was a joke - regardless of its global appeal.

I almost agree with you. Only difference being i have listened to hindi versions of Jeans and Indian.
