Hmmm!
I have the Carpenters -The Singles, both on vinyl & on CD.
Karen Carpenter was like a Fostex single driver speaker -absolutely magical midrange;a "honey" of a voice.
Coincidently, I also have both the vinyl & the CD of Night Flight to Venus.
Albums from the days of my youth;

I am not a big fan of classical music, but this was a steal in hmv at 5 gbp for 4 CD's. I am enchanted now with my first taste of classical music.

After attending series of 2 meet of audiophiles, my old music passion got woke up..

Taken few cd's out of dust and hearing BoneyM... Just got pulled by "gotta go home".. I heard the disco beat in my childhood days, which will be played in theatres during break and before starting of movie...

Somehow I cannot be rested of hearing only audio and want to watch video, i like Jenifer Lopez... And thought of seeing the video today and watched- If you had my love / Waiting for tonight..

With Oxygene, Jean Michel Jarre brought electronic music to the masses
Even today the sound as well as the compositions stand out. The lead single 'Oxygene IV' is one the most recognizable Electronic pieces in recent history. I bought the LP in 1984, but pressing was bad. But now i have the remastered 2007 Version CD, sounds clean. This disk is one of my very favorites, you definitely need to listen to this masterpiece! ​

'LETTING THE WORLD GO BY'

Album falls into 'Minimalistic' category of music with one instrument in lead and rest two instruments filling the background subtly. In the album we have mainly digital Piano notes, Electric Guitar lead (very soothing kind). Its all mainly digital but seemingly recorded on high gain and hence bringing in airy-acoustic effect. The compsitions are worthy and can well ease the mind as u start or unfold the day. I heard online a few samples from this album among a few that i recently ordered from Amazon.

Similar music ..but much better compositions can be found from artist - Kevin Kern. You may check Amazon.com for this album or search 'Kevin Kern' with limewire if u like this kind of music ..minimalist and soothing.

I had the time and wanted to go beyond the usual main lead artists and albums, i really could find a lot of worthy pieces to my taste on Amazon. And the 'listen to samples' feature on Amazon was so very helpful to enable me make a selection n buy.
