Right now I am listening to ...

Have this album-XRCD.
I agree, she's quite a singer!

Wow, after hearing the last song, i had put her on the to-buy list of xrcds as well. A great recording wud really do her loads of justice and to us too.

Sir, cud u name a few more smooth vocalists ..(who dont peak their voices usually while singing) ..like we hv Jacintha, Allan Taylor, Knopfler. Anymore to the league?

Hi
1) Neck & neck - Chet Atkins & Mark Knopfler. Good recording and I love the music.
2) Rio- Duran Duran. This is one of those old cds that I am truly surprised I can still listen to!!!! Love the tracks Rio, My own way, Hungry like the wolf.
2) Golden Heart - Mark Knopfler. I may be in a minority here but this is one of MK s works that least appeals to me. There are just a couple of tracks that I like to listen to.
3) Famous Blue Raincoat - Jennifer Warner. Superb recordings & a must have cd. The title track & Joan of Arc are truly super.
4) Tunnel of love - Bruce Springsteen. Decent recording & one of my favourite cds of springsteen. Most tracks are good (esp the slower ones)
Rgds

btw, duran duran still play live. my BIL was in spain recently and they played at the dinner he attended.

Am quite taken by this song and the authority it has been sung with ..despite all the softness. Once again its Jacintha's beautiful song to my ears ... 'HERES TO LIFE'.

I will share excerpts from the song.

'Stanza 1'
No complaints and no regrets, i still believe in chasing dreams... and placing bets.
For i have learnt that all you give is all you get, so give all you got.

I had my share, i drank my fill and even though i am satisfied i'm hungry still.
To see whats whats down on the road beyond the hill and do it all again.

...So here's to life and every joy it brings.
Heres to life ..two dreamers and their dreams.

'Stanza 2'
Funny how the time just flies, how love can go from one hello to sad good byes and leave you with memories you've memorized to keep ur winters warm.

For theres no yes in yesterday and who knows what tomorrow brings or takes away.
As long as i'm still in the game i wanna play, for last ..for life ..for love

...So here's to life and every joy it brings.
Heres to life ..two dreamers and their dreams.

.........
Wishes

EMBRACING THE WIND
- by Kevin Kern

*Kevin Kern is a pianist, with angelic touch in his soothing compositions. I ordered 3 of his albums from Amazon, after hearing samples. 'all' of the tracks in all three albums are distinct yet possess certain bit of magic to ease the soul.

Unleash_me,
Margazhi Poove is a song I listen to pretty much everyday! Lovely vocals and it makes you feel like you are in a field of green grass and with a bubbling stream of water nearby!
(Damn! That does sound corny!)

sidharth ji,
No, I have not heard it. But I thanked you for posting the lyrics.Pretty good. I will definitely listen to it soon.
