musically a really good album though a little too slow for me. wasnt too happy with the recording - mids to highs were a bit too thin and had listening fatigue (on a nad amp)
Sad but its true I never heard or even heard of Mr. Hayes till someone on this forum recommended him to me. Since then I've collected Hot Buttered Soul, Shaft Music From The Soundtrack (1971 Film), & Ultimate Collection from him. Shaft's theme is simply outstanding...
1) WHISPERING JACK -John Farnham. Australian artist with some good tracks and some pretty much junk.
2) SPORTS - Huey Lewis. Simply fantastic. Toe tapping, rocking tracks.
3) LIVING YEARS- Mike & the MEchanics. Another fantastic album. A must have. Not hard at all and some fantastic songs.
