Right now I am listening to ...

Hi Ashokiji
No doubt music of "hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" is very good but the extra bright recording almost kills the good music
This is what i feel, what are your views when you listen to it on your tube based setup?

guess i have (by now) learnt to discount these variables and enjoy the music. bright recording seems to be the apparent need of the hour for present run of the mill system configs and listening preferences. commerce supersedes the underlying sentiment, again.

Hi guys,

Diana Navarro - 24 Rosas.
I truly love her voice. Spanish/latin tracks so the words are like a Brett Lee bouncer. Bought it blindly in barcelona on the recommendation of the sales girl:):) and I love it.

DIDO - Life for rent. Nice music from this talented mainstream female vocalist.

My way- Frank Sinatra. Simply superb compilation and i definately prefer the version of 'something stupid' that he sang with his wife Nancy to the one sung by Robbie & Nicole.

after waiting over a month, it's finally here!

beatles-tudo.jpg

was it worth the wait? absolutely!
especially when you consider the price: rs.6,995! that's approx $140, which makes it far cheaper than amazon. the cds are 'made in EU' and the dvd is ntsc.

packaging is first rate, with excellent liner notes. the sound is a mixed bag. imo, the first few albums would definitely sound better in mono. having the vocals on one channel is a bit weird. however, overall the SQ is superb. for the first time, you can hear pm and rs in all their glory.

if you're a beatles fan/atic, you have to buy this. the only problem might be availability. planet m in b'lore only got 4 copies. and landmark, where i placed the order, has not yet called.

Blue is very nice. Rahman has done it again. By the way, I thought Delhi 6's music sank without a trace. Which was unfair. There was some very very good music in that album. 'Maula Maula...' was a definition of soulful singing.

just pik'd up d6 a coupla days bak for masakali and gainda phool.

found a coupla more numbers also rock.

however, felt the last bachchan bit did not do justice.

will chk maula maula again tonight.

Delhi 6 is a great album. Its a non mover on my player among Hindi songs. Somehow Blue failed to impress me.
Listening to this right now..

Dard e tanhai and Nazrein are a decent listen and quite hummable.:)

A beautiful, well-constructed speaker with class-leading soundstage, imaging and bass that is fast, deep, and precise.
