This step doesn't work for the 950D model... In showroom checked for 800D model too, and didn't work. But it worked for other Sony models which was adjacent to 800D.

Any idea what is the steps for 2016 models of android to?

First I tried with Vol-, then also with Vol+... Nothing was working. As I said, when I was executing these steps against 800D in showroom, the required information shown in the adjacent sony tv's but 800D just switched on back.

Is there a particular input should be selected before powering off tv using remote?

Ok, it is working fine. Vol- directly goes to diagnostic screen and Vol+ goes to top level service menu and from there we can access diagnostic screen.

Actual issue was, I was executing these steps slowly. These buttons should be pressed in quick succession!
