Once I had the opportunity to compare the Rotel 971 with Cambridge Audio Azur 550A and to my personal taste I liked the Rotel with much cleaner and well defined amplification. The speaker used was a very ordinary Wharfdale Diamond 8 Series Bookshelf Speaker.
