Sorry to have stopped posting. I tried all possible nos for Pro audiotronics but I think they r on vacation. No responses on landlines or mobiles.
Will try to get some updates tomorrow guys ... but 24.5 for TSI 400 is really yummy ....

Thanks! heard variety of music over the weekend plus gaming.. so far so good. They are black (wify's choice... though I preferred cherry wood).. will post pics shortly
Even I tried before talking to Profx. same experience. no response. don't think they can go on vacation for so long. they are in business man. may be numbers have changed??

Finally got the quote from Pro Audiotronics but not a happy news ..... He quoted me a price of 17850 for TSI300 and 24650 for TSI400
...
He agreed the price of roughly 15K for TSI300 was an offer till sometime back ... but the price of TSI300 was increased in november first week. At this price the TSI400 is definitely a good bargain and I am seriously considering to for one soon. I think I will go for profx which is gvng a quote of 24500 for the same .....

There are die hard fans of all the 3 receivers you have specified .... I am thinking how come you did not mention Pioneer 1020K in this ....
BTW when I was doing the research sometime back the best rated and appreciated (among the ones you ve specified) was the Onkyo 608 .... which stood out of all because it is feature-rich, VFM and Reliable ....
The other 2 just behind due to Denon being a bit pricy and Yamaha - 667 casually having certain technical issues (HDMI comapatibility etc) .....
But, Denon and Yamaha have their fan-following who will always believe in their products like I believe in Dettol
So, read some good reviews and decide ... My Vote for Onkyo - 608 ....

Guys wat r d reviews for Pioneer VSX-1020... I am in d same boat.. rockin between Denon 1911 ,, Yammy 667 and Pioneer 1020..
I heard Pio is feature loaded.. And I m getting it at a very good price (37k Approx) ..got a quote from shop yr world... Denon also abt 40k

Pioneer 1020K is a great feature loaded piece. It has less issues as compared to other recivers ... so a nice choice when you get it from US ... I have personal liking for Pioneer makes... But the only thing to bother is that they are very sensitive to power fluctuations. So, you need to get a very good isolation step-down transformer.

Denon 1911 and Yamaha RX-V667 have both equal output power. I suggest you must audition both and decide yourself. Both hold a good reputation and are good products.

As per me the sound quality ranking will be 1020K, 1911 and 667. But the difference is really minor and as they say "Sound is in the ears of the beholder"
.... as per experts Denon is the best for music ..... but for a combo of music and movies 1020K and 667 will be better ...If you go by the experts reviews 1020K tops it all but yes you should audition them before deciding and ensure you listen to same music/movie and in a similar setup
Now that KIRON electronics have become the authorized service center for Pioneer as well, service will be improved i think ..... But yes for Pioneer gotta get the best transformer in market. Besides you can manage an UPS as well the 1020K being VFM and still cheap including the UPS.

Well m from Guwahati.. goin to mumbai next week.. will audition all of dem..
In my city only Harman Kardon is available for audition.. Auditioned today with its HK speakers only.. WITH 50W AND 80w SPEAKERS...
50w SPEAKER PACKAGE din sound great.. Low on bass and creaky at high volume.. the 80W speaker package was bettr thoguh...but not great..
Leaving d speakers....how r Harman Kardon AV Rcvrs....
