Sa Ding Ding

Guyz,

I came across this artist 2 months ago..and she is a mongolish/chinese/Tibetan/And her own language folk singer and she sings amazing..though I don't understand her vocals(chinese: I dislike China hyeah ....I love her voice..music..and touch of folk style...her every track from the album ALIVE is fresh and she sang a Sanskrit song too...man I fell in love with her:lol:...I heard her latest album "Harmony" which has some POPish touch with Paul Oakenfield..but I'd like her to continue her own indigenous style like ALIVE album...by seeing her videos on youtube..I can say that inspiration to her music is Spiritual and Philosophical(you see we are alike & likeminded..made for each other na :licklips...to speak of her popularity..she performed in Beijing Olympics and then in Music Festival held somewhere in Europe.

..I suggest people who like to listen to new style of singing every next moment without sticking to same old classics give a session to this artist too...One more request...after you are done with her albums...plzz suggest me some brand new, never heard like, fresh, ambient, folk and ancient music albums with a tinge of modern touch...the music should be like a fresh morning with cool and pleasant start....

Am I asking too much from my friends?...what to do yaar? gone are the days with Iron Maiden, Death, Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, Ozzy...started listening to some classics of Beethoven, Vivaldi which was soothing but not fresh...moved on to the likes of Yanni, Steve Jablonsky but their music is so familiar that every Indian director copy them in regional films....finally I landed on beautiful Anoushka:licklips:, Midival Punditz likes and simultaneously am hunting for some fresh folk music like Sa Ding Ding's....please drop me a PM or fill in this thread if you might want to suggest me some music for my soul....I guess friends here will understand my thirst for fresh & new music..

You can try Green Music by Chamras Saewataporn, a composer from Thailand. A few of the albums I tired such as 'Piano In The Garden' and 'The Naerunchara River' are very pleasing and relaxing.

Hi Venkus,

In my view chinese songs is good to hear in more relaxing mood and makes you to go the deepest of your soul.

Great you liked the Sa dingding and thoroughly a great relief from the western influenced music but still mixed with classical/regional & electronica.

This song i heard some months back refered by my chinese friend and quiete a popular one. She has suggested more in the list which were popular there...

Since we cannot understand chinese it may not attract much audiophiles here but great to hear folk/classical music of chinese and good to enjoy with video footage which were amazingly taken.Chinese are amazing performers in dance too.

Since you started about chinese, can I include some great footages i like which refered not related to albums but good one it was refered by my friend and this group consists of blind and deaf people.

As a matter of fact I enjoyed the difft kinds of music immensely.
I posted the link to this classic song by Lata & Kishore since I found it rightaway while exploring you tube & wanted to share it with all.
Actually, I was looking for some clips of the famous Egyptian singer Uom Kulsum whom even Lataji has spoken very highly of in her biography.During the course of the search I came across this clip from the movie Aandhi.
As a matter of fact, I'd love this to become a thread where members can share clips of exotic singers-it'll take us beyond the known & familiar & expose us to difft kinds of music which will be an enriching & rewarding experience.
Plz do share more clips if you come across nice & diverse ones.
