During travels got the drivers .Based on FAST spkrs build by XRK 971 in diyaudio based on Scan Speak 10F/8424 +Dayton RS225-8
This is only the baffle and spkr playing to check .(Work in progress.)

What filler did you go for? Or none?

Used parts express acoustic "eggcrate" foam inside bottom and on the bottom back plate that faces the woofer.
Top compartment only dagger cover which was sealed with loudspkr gasket tape and then 4screws to hold in place.
 
:) Used 3 wood screws .Speaker placed on the head of the wood screws .Temporary till i consider professionally made stands.

There are some excellent MTM designs for the Daytons as these beam a lot above 2 khz and are very difficult to control over the xo points
 
Very nice amplifier that one...
Any suggestions on which brand of speaker available in India would you drive with these .I was looking at elac UB5 ?.My source ipad+DragonFly dac is a limiting factor. I could not get the dayens bs spkrs.
 
For excellent sound that won't break the bank, the 5 Star Award Winning Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 Bookshelf Speakers is the one to consider!
