I am planning to build a 2.1 system primarily for music (85%) and movies(15%). I am starting with speakers based on the opinions of experts here in this forum. Then will go for an amp/receiver and later sub.
I have 2 major constraints -
(1) Budget of 23k(max) for speaker & amp/reciever and
(2) Size constraint due to AV unit furniture - Cannot go for a tower speaker setup , so i have to go with bookshelf speakers.
Please see the image of my AV Unit furniture with roomwidth of 11ft and length of unit is 10ft. I am looking for good speakers which can fit fully in the boxes, the ideal dimension which I am looking is 330mm (W) x 330mm (H) x 300mm (D) or 13"x14.7"x12" . I have searched lots of speaker specs but not found any which fits my size spec. .
Could any you please help me with your valuable ideas/thoughts on how to go about this...
Are there any speakers available which has the same tower configuration in a square box?
