Apparently she suffers from a mouth disease that prevents her from singing or even talking, so she is now retired.

I stumbled onto an LP of her's. It sounded vaguely familiar until I realized that the song I was listening to, "ever so lonely" was sampled by Jakkatta more recently in their own version of the song.
