sonodyne roarr 210

I think it's awesome at the low end. But, with a DAC sub cable, does it sound better? If yes, Then only I would go for a new cable.

Hello All,

Has anyone tested Sonodyne Sonu 2504 V3 Floor standers with SIA 310 amp. Please let me know how do they perform.

Also how bad they are in compare with Sonu 2605 V3 with SIA 320. What is the recommended stereo setup for 12ft X 9ft bedroom.

Please advice

Many thanks,

Thanks & Regards,
Soumen

How to connect Roarr 210 with norge 1000 amplifier ?

As my norge has only speaker outputs , and no subwoofer out.

Does Norge 1000 have Line level out? If yes, you can connect it to line level in. In this case full range signal is fed into the sub but the Low pass filter of the sub will come into picture. You can set low pass frequency to your liking with rotary knob. If you are not very keen on Roarr 210 only, then there are many other subs which accept speaker level signals. I suppose Norge 1000 has speaker A and B terminals. So you can connect speaker A to your main speakers and B to speaker level in of the sub. In this case again, the Low pass filter of the sub will be in active. sub out or LFE out is usually seen only in AVRs which separate low freq signals below the set low pass filter freq in AVR (or the .1 signal that is recorded that way) and feed to the sub LFE in. In this case, the low pass filter in the subwoofer is bypassed and the signal is fed directly to the plate amp in the sub.

I have a serious doubt about my roarr 210.
I saw a slf210 v2 and found that the drivers are same in slf210 and my roarr 210.but I saw another 2 roarr 210(one is my friend"s and other in showroom).these two subwoofers comes with grey color driver. After thorough listening I found my subwoofer is producing better and clean bass than the other two.please give your suggestions.my subwoofer mfg date is 20/2/2012.mfg date of my friends 210 is 18/6/2011.

@Lulla Singh
first time I am hearing a negative commend for roarr 210.every one says its a very good sub for 18k.might be some other issue.

Sonodyne must have leveraged few components from the SLF210 in Roar 210 in this year models..Hence the difference....

it costs 6.5k to build it.

only 5 posts in account till yet and you are posting -ive comments about a proven product. Seems a lot fishy to me!

Kindly explain your experiences with the roarr 210 in detail, else refrain yourself from posting -ive comments in just a few words.

@anubhav2345 - # of posts you seem to be your judging point. Anyway thats your mindset & a general mindset of the Indian communities hence they're where they are. Try to visit the factory and hopefully you'll have an insight of the item.

I have so I know.

Anyway, with 5 posts, enuf said. Good Luck to those buying this Junk.

I have the sw150 (cost me 18 k in a group buy). Have heard the roar too. Both sound good for the price.

Subwoofers need proper input voltage to pump out the bass. If you run something on less than 220 v your bass will suffer.
