You can make out the answer if you read the specs again very carefully



Viewing Angle 178 (Right to Left), 178 (Up to Down) and Viewing Angle 89 (Right/Left), 89 (Up/Down) are both the same specs, but read out differently.

178 is when you move from left to right or right to left.
89 is when you move from centre( sitting perpendicular to the TV) to left or centre to right.

So 89+89 = 178

Apply the same rule for UP to down or Down to up. Hope this clears your doubt.

It's the other way round..

W950C has IPS panel, that's why the viewing angle is 178 degree, no way VA panel give this much viewing angle.

I will stand on my words that W950C has VA panel and W900B has an IPS panel. Because I felt while demoing both these models that black levels was better on 950C and W900B was having better viewing angles, also the contrast ratio was felt better on W950C.

am also confused between w900b and w950c... they look same but w900b is much cheaper... should I go for w900b... or there are any issues
