Very bright, artificial sound, under powered center speaker and sub woofer, lacks details, distorts with base. Sorry, with every audition I am beginning hate Sony and love Philips. Audition a Philips HTiB and then you would know what I am talking about.

Sony rules specs, disappoints in reality!

Totally agree here. Sony sucks. They are good in their X series LCD TVs though, but Panasonic PV8 is truly VFM in TVs.
