Sound Proportions - what's yours ?

Most of us here have spent good amount of time, money and effort in creating our own personalized setups. While few opt for Uni-brand setup, a lot of us do mix match, (for various reasons) there by end up with different levels of cost for different components. Some may decide to spend a bomb on the Source, few on the DAC. most of them (my guess) on Speakers and a rare few of cables (?). It will interesting to know the proportions of your setup.
Not necessary to give the cost, just the ratio / Percentages would do.

For my own Stereo Setup.

Source: 8.8%
DAC: 27.1%
Amplifier: 21.1%
Speakers: 34.5%
Cables: 4.9%
Stands and Ancillaries: 3.6%

For my HT setup

Source: 1.8%
Visual Out Device: 7.4%
AVR: 10.4%
Amplifiers: 0.0%
Speakers: 55.5%
Cables: 6.2%
Stands and Ancillaries: 3.7%

Have highlighted the component that makes up for my max cost!!

Transport: 7%
DAC/Pre: 24%
Subwoofer: 25%

Here's mine (5.1 HT fully active setup, arranged in descending order of proportion to total cost):

Speakers(inclusive of shipping and customs) : 57.42%
Room(insulation and treatment for audio; darkening for video) : 20.28%
Pre-amplifier : 11.03%
Projector and screen : 7.29%
AV calibration : 2.21%
Accessories (AV rack, center channel stand) : 1.10%
Misc. (cables and other electrical work) : 0.66%

That is what we ultimately listen to. The chain should ideally be built around it.

As they rightly should. I am amazed at some of the numbers for cables though. Mind-boggling!
